Michael Douglas Diagnosed With Throat Cancer

This sounds scary. Michael Douglas’ spokesperson has confirmed that the actor has been diagnosed with throat cancer and will undergo eight weeks of radiation and chemotherapy to treat the tumor.

Ugh. I hate the C word. It scares the hell out of me. It’s such a mean and random disease.

The good news is that his doctors expect him to make a full recovery. “I am very optimistic,” Douglas said in a statement.
