T-Mobile Inc. this week said it will release Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd.’s Samsung Galaxy S II and HTC Corp.’s Amaze 4G to U.S. retail Oct. 10 online and Oct. 12 at retail stores.
The Samsung Galaxy S II includes a 1.5 Ghz Dual-Core CPU, 4.52-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, 4G functionality, Samsung TouchWiz user interface, accelerometer, gyroscope, Media Hub, 8MP camera with 1080p HD video functionality, 2MP front-facing camera, NFC functionality, 16GB memory, HSPA+ 42Mbps functionality, and Google Inc.’s Android OS 2.3.5.
It will sell at $229.99 after $50 mail-in rebate and two-year contract. Read more
