T-Mobile to beam Samsung Galaxy S II, HTC Amaze 4G in Oct.

T-Mobile Inc. this week said it will release Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd.’s Samsung Galaxy S II and HTC Corp.’s Amaze 4G to U.S. retail Oct. 10 online and Oct. 12 at retail stores.

The Samsung Galaxy S II includes a 1.5 Ghz Dual-Core CPU, 4.52-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, 4G functionality, Samsung TouchWiz user interface, accelerometer, gyroscope, Media Hub, 8MP camera with 1080p HD video functionality, 2MP front-facing camera, NFC functionality, 16GB memory, HSPA+ 42Mbps functionality, and Google Inc.’s Android OS 2.3.5.

Introduced Lenvo IdeaPad K1 with 10.1-inch Tablet

The Lenovo IdeaPad K1 endeavors to be at a greater extent than just another Android tablet. From its Honeycomb tweaks to its superfluity of preloaded apps, a lot of which are actually useful to its inclusion of Microsoft ReadyPlay DRM.

The display looked good overall, on a par with the Toshiba Thrive’s and the Motorola Xoom’s , the IdeaPad had better color saturation. The viewing angle was a bit finer than that of the Thrive, likely because the vent gap between the display and the outside glass is littler on the IdeaPad than it is on the Thrive.
